Michael Bishop PT, DPT, MST, ATC

Education/Certifications:
I received my Bachelor's degree from Pacific Lutheran University in 1979; becoming the first certified athletic trainer to graduate from their program. I then received my Master's degree in 1991 from Portland State University and in 1995 received my physical therapy degree from Langston University in Oklahoma. In 2010 I completed my Doctorate from A.T. Still University of Health Science.

Specialties:

My primary emphasis is on sports and orthopedics with a focus on extremities. I have extensive manual therapy training and specialize in shoulders, foot and ankle.

Fun Facts:

I have worked extensively in sports medicine, including positions with the Seattle Mariners and the United States Gymnastics Teams. In addition to work at the U.S. Olympic Training Center I have worked with many national and international athletes and events.

My family and I are involved in many activities including the equestrian world. I enjoy my own horse, a Rocky Mountain named Fair. Together with my Llewellin Setter, Elly, and Brittany Spaniel, Coper we enjoy many adventures together.
