“When I started at MVP, I was in a walking boot after undergoing surgery that included four incisions, fours screws, and two bone grafts … and now I’m walking freely. Angela was sufficiently assertive and persistent enough to challenge me n a patient and respectful manner. I’m very grateful for the successful therapy she performed and for the friendly and competent manner she and the staff displayed. “- K.M.

I believe that movement is medicine and when we have pain or dysfunction PTs help you move again. I’m often asked what it is that we do as PTs, and the answer is we basically do whatever it takes to help individuals move better: we educate, we help with pain control, we use manual therapy techniques, we stretch, we strengthen, we re-train faulty movement patterns. A physical therapy treatment can as varied as the people and the problems they come to see us with. We want to know how we can help YOU do what you do better!
I grew up in in the Chicago area and moved to Washington State with the Army National Guard after serving a deployment to Iraq. After getting of out the military I decided I liked mountains better than the plains, so I stayed and went to school at EWU to become a PT. I left the state for a few years to do my residency training, but decided that east coast mountains were just not the same! I love to camp, canoe, climb, cycle, and… contra dance (most fun thing ever). My wife and I will be spending our weekends conquering the west on our tandem bike.
